Graham Barwick has won his class at the annual Adams Vintage meeting in the USA.
They initially had ignition problems with the Mighty Maico, which Peter Ward went to work on and according to GB "When he (PW) fixed it the Kart got a new lease on life!!' He went on to say, "I just concentrated on keeping smooth and we finished with a 2nd, 1st and a 4th in the heats, giving us the overall win"
GB has dedicated himself to this effort over a number of years and is to be congratulated on the effort, Proudly flying the Aussie Flag, and VHKA Attire.
The yanks were impressed with Peter Wards record of 12? National titles and made a big thing of his attendance at this meeting, which is great to see the international recognition for one of our greats, while one of Fayes Friends gave up his Yamaha for another Aussie, Col Bennett to have a drive.
