SOME MORE OLD MOTORS.

KEEP THEM COMING PEOPLE, THERE IS SOME VERY INTERESTING MOTORS OUT THERE.

ANOTHER WESTERN AUSTRALIAN WITH INTEREST.

Sean PHILLIPS, has raced go karts since he was 8 years old, and resorected this "Testa Rosa" PCR as a duplicate of what he raced as a Junior back in 1988.

Sean, is looking for a Jnr International kart from the same vintage (1988) so that he can put together a combo that he has fond memories of. Can any one help??

A VERY RARE FAIR DINKUM "DEAN HARRISON" SPECIAL.

From what I understand Dean Harrison used YAMAHA Motors and then built his on bottom end cases, along with some major inlet and port work to build some very real "Rocketships" of the Day.

They came in a variety of sizes 100cc, 125cc and the Big Beast at 175cc.

Sean used one of these engines in the AIDKA (WA) Dirt series last year and managed 3rd in the championship against what he describes as "Fire Burning 200 Supers" So they are still competitive some 35 years after they were made.

Sean relates that Dean, unfortunately is no longer with us, but I am sure he leaves us with a sport that owes a lot to him and people like him who put very real effort in to making the sport continue for all of us to enjoy.

FROM MIKE BEST. A genuine KOMET K30, 135cc complete with IBEA Slide block carby. Mike hopes it will be together with his Swiss Hutless for Tamworth later this year.
